๐ Amended Tax Return (Form 1040-X) Sometimes after filing your taxes, you realize something was missing or incorrect โ thatโs when you amend. 1. What Is an Amended Tax Return? Filed using Form 1040-X with the IRS. Used to correct errors or omissions on a previously filed tax return. Can be for federal income taxes (some states also allow/amend separately). 2. When You Should Amend โ Reasons you may need to amend: Forgot to include income (W-2, 1099, side gig, investments). Missed a deduction or credit. Claimed the wrong filing status (e.g., single vs. head of household). Corrected dependents. IRS sent you a notice requesting a correction. โ When you donโt need to amend: Math errors โ IRS fixes these automatically. Missing forms โ IRS may request them directly. 3. Time Limit for Amending You generally have 3 years from the original filing date, OR 2 years from the date you paid the tax, whichever is later.

Appointments/Services Notice Required: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a (50% of the service fee). No-Shows: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and have not contacted us, you may be charged the full service fee. Events/Workshops Full Refund: Cancel up to 7 days before the event for a full refund. Partial Refund: Cancellations within 3โ6 days before the event may be eligible for a 50% refund. No Refund: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event. Subscriptions Monthly Plans: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your plan will remain active until the end of the billing period. Annual Plans: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after 7 days from purchase.
